One thing I hate on Garmin connect is that 2 thirds of the screen is wasted on empty space. I tried finding ways to widen the map area but there is no way. Somebody has to rectify this. When I create a course on my 30'' monitor, I only have the top third of the screen to work on. It would be much easier on the eyes to be able to work on creating a course full screen. I hope that the person who created the App will fix this. Thank You....Frank

Being a new owner of Fenix 3 watch this year, I also find this bewildering why you cannot have a bigger map.
Even more alarming there are several posts going back years (4 I think) asking for this, yet Garmin do nothing.
HI, thanks for replying.It's too bad because when you create a lengthy route, you can only see a portion of it at a time on a small map area. It's hard to believe that a big company like Garmin don't act on simple but useful things like this. I hope that one day soon they see this thread and act upon I. In the meantime I'm using another App which happily uses a full screen map making it easier to create your routes, Wake up Garmin. The only problem is that it is more of a pain to send it to my Garmin 1000 unit .....Frank
