I seem to recall with my Colorado that I could record a track and leave it on the map, while not writing a new track. Allowed me to go back and forth following that track without "gumming up the works", so to speak, by writing new tracks constantly.
It appears that on my new Montana if I want to see a track I have to also be recording a track.
Or is there a way around this? I don't want to use Trackback, or at least I don't think it would work for me as I want to proceed from both directions of the beginning and end of the track.
What I'm doing is driving off the main road and following trails. The track helps me to remember which direction to go when I come to a fork in the trail. Once I get back to the main road, I don't need to record a track nor follow one.
