After completing a cycling segment yesterday, the Edge 810 showed a time of 8:42. When I sync'd with Garmin Connect, however, the segment wasn't registered. Looking back at the segment logged in the Edge 810 shows some contradictory results. The "Segment Leader" matches what's shown in GC but it shows my "Personal Best" as 8:55 even though it shows 8:42 under "Last Ride Time" with yesterday's date and time.
If it correctly logged (in the device) yesterday's time as 8:42, why didn't it move it up to the Personal Best field? Or does the Personal Best get set when the Segment is sent from GC to the device?
Looking closely at the GPS track on GC, it appears as if the GPS accuracy varied just enough during one section to cause it to not accept the segment. But's it's frustrating that the Edge registered the segment. Is there some way to get the Edge's segment data pushed up to GC?
