Multiple Activity Types and Calendar Weekly Totals

Hello all,

Is there a way to have the Weekly Totals field in the calendar reflect only a single activity type? I use my watch mainly for running and occasionally cycling, but I want to make the calendar only show running in Weekly Totals. See link:

So in this shot, I have one ~6 mile bike ride hidden, but that mileage still shows up in the total on the far right.
  • Unfortunately not - this would really make sense for the totals only to include the activities shown - a number of people have asked for this in the past. I suggest that you post this in the feature requests thread.

    Thanks! I'll find that thread and post.

    In the meantime I'll probably just stop using the watch on my bike because it's pretty rare that I actually use it... soon I'll be training for my first marathon, not a marathon with a 6 mile bike ride at the end.

    Actually, I mentioned this to a buddy of mine and he went into his Connect and saw the option to change the Monthly Totals at the very bottom of the Calendar Screen --- I didn't realize it was down there. If you switch from All Activities to Running (for example), it will show you the correct weekly totals on the right side:

    So even if I don't hide the bike ride from displaying, it won't be tabulated in the weekly total.
  • Ahh :) well spotted - I had used that dropdown before but not noticed that it changed the weekly totals too doh!
  • This is great info. Thanks.

    I noticed that your activities appear in each box of the calendar. I presume they weren't manual activities. My calendar shows the totals at the end but not the activities in each daily box. Was there a setting necessary to allow them to show? The only things that show in my case are weekly totals and the totals at the bottom.

    My actual activity history doesn't appear in each box.

    Yeah, the "Month Total" is not only hidden down below but mislabeled since it appears to adjust the weekly totals too.

    And re: displaying individual activities.

    I contacted Garmin support after I posted the question about how to show activities and the CSR pointed me to those 2 bars which I had never noticed before.
    He had me fixed in a matter of seconds. Didn't even have to wait to be connected. It was as good an experience with support as I've had ever.
