MyFitnessPal integration

For the past few months the MFP status has been:

Some users are seeing delays in data syncing with MyFitnessPal. The team is investigating.

I wonder if the integration will ever work?

The calorie data WILL come over to GC from MFP ... but only if it's manually synced. Sure seems trivial to do an automatic sync.
  • Pretty much the same thing, I'm seeing, data only moves if I log into the web interface and force a sync, no idea why they can't get it to be automated, some users don't touch the web site :-(

I've also noticed that, once synced, the calorie information seems to be universal across platforms, but the info in the calories 'remaining' circle on the phone app is always some random number that doesn't add up to what all the other info is reporting.

Same here. Only way to get the data to show correctly in Garmin Connect or on the dashboard on the mobile app is to manually sync on the Garmin Connect website. Everything shows up in Myfitnesspal correctly without manually syncing.
  • Even if I manually update on the Garmin Connect website - which ends up importing MFP calories - my Connect app (iPhone 6) does not sync with the Garmin website.
  • Of course now the widget on GC says "Unable to sync: MyFitnessPal is down. Try again later".

I did get it to sync. Bad thing is that MFP is about 24 hours behind before you see anything and I only saw it on " Your Exercise Diary" basically all MFP did was subtract calories burned. What that meant for me is before I even started my workout I was in the negative column before workout began. That's a real bust to your spirit!
