I would like to be able to have personal records for Open Water Swimming for a variety of distances. Please consider adding this Category. Very limiting with just Run, Cycle and Pool Swim
I love getting the new personal record message, but I'm also a data purest in that I won't reset my PRs just for the hell of it. Wouldn't it be nice to have a whole new set of PRs to go after every year after your birthday? .
Does Garmin have anywhere to request these kinds of features. I see ideas like this that are 6+ years old all the time.
My request would be two fold...
1) Create a manual PR distance (10 mile, 40KM, 100 mile, etc.)
2) Be able to achieve the record based on activity type (Indoor cycling vs. Outdoor or Gravel, etc.)
I ride rollers in the winter and often get my "40KM PR" but I don't want to accept it b/c I want to keep my road riding PR.

Well, there are thousands of diverse requests coming here on the forum every month, so I do not think it is possible to integrate every single wish, but you can certainly try to submit it directly to Garmin (Submitting an Idea to Garmin), since here, on the user forum, it is not certain anyone from Garmin will ever see it.
Hey there! I can go ahead and create a feature request for you! Thank you for this feedback! I will note, I can not make any promises but we surely can get them submitted for you!
That would be awesome. I'll reply to @trux too... I didn't mean for my tone to sound ungrateful regarding this request. I had looked up starting the week on Sunday for some items like the "Intensity Minutes" item on the dashboard and noticed it had been requested a while back with no feedback, so I was mainly wondering if there was a place to follow requests/bug tracking.
I am overall very happy with the connect app/website, so please don't read any unintended jerky-ness in my original post.
Thanks!
I replied to @Garmin-AmberD about this too, but in case you don't come back to see.... I didn't mean to sound so snarky in my original post. I had just noticed that in the forums, when there's a feature I'd be interested in, someone has posted about it, and the timestamp looks like it was years ago. That led me to wonder if anyone at Garmin monitored this, or if there was a better place to post requests. I appreciate you sharing the link to the "ideas" section.
