Auto naming activities

For 2 years I had to edit activity names after uploading activities from my Edge 500 (where Strava just named them for me) but around 6 mths ago it started doing that. Was great.
I now have a VivoActive, but its uploading as Untitled.
Anyway to set that up, or have to head over to suggestions section ?

Mine are named "<location> <type>" ( such as "MyCity Running") on the va. There's nothing that needs to be set up, but something odd for you. Contact Garmin support.

Not real often, but sometimes "auto naming" is turned off for a bit (maybe a couple hours at most).

Please allow disabling auto-naming activities

I understand that this feature is trying to help users to make our life easier, it seems that auto-naming of activities is not quite accurate and does not represent what users really want. Just because you passed near to an area, it doesn't mean that ran that particular route. This feature should be optional.

There is a new setting in GC to turn off auto naming. It came out a week or two ago.

Go to Settings>display preference
