multisport training without multisport watch

Hello everyone!!!
I have a question about multisport trainings...
I have Garmin Forerunner 220 which is obviously running watch
but from time to time i use it for swimming and biking too (changing type in GC of course)

Recently I started triathlon trainings and I'm wondering what is the best way to record training ?

Once I tried to record whole training as one but as i understand without external tools (like Fit edit tool) there is no way to make it visible as triathlon training ... correct? Btw when I edit type of training there is no way to choose Triathlon ...
so is the only way to get accurate stats - to stop and start new recordings at transitions and have 3 different files (and then see all of them as 3 different training in GC, losing transitions in stats btw)? or is there any other way?

while asking Garmin support - of course I got answer "need to buy different watch"

thanks for any kind of help

all the best

    Hello Marcin,

Here is your Triathlon file converted to a MultiSport.

There were some misc cadence readings scattered in the Swim and Cycle sessions that were obviously incorrect and I removed them.

I also had to remove the 1km auto laps to make the new 5 session MultiSport.

So....here ya go. Converted with the Fit File Repair Tool.
