geocaching icons on nuvi

Hi
I use my nuvi mainly for geocaching.
My old nuvi is a 1490 & when I loaded caches into it, it automatically showed the geocaching icons on the screen as I approached them.
I have a 2797 now & it doesn't display the icons.
Someone told me that I would have to have Garmin base camp loaded onto my computer, which I have done, but I don't see anything that helps me.
I'm not real computer savvy so I need some help.

The forums here mainly revolve around Garmin's fitness devices and some of their trail device that are used for fitness as well as some supporting software. You'd probably get better information over here..... http://forums.groundspeak.com/GC/
