In the past two days (after the latest update to 2.80) my Vivoactive keeps shutting down and not powering back up. It then resets my steps. Has anyone else had this problem? I've had it for over a month now and not had any issues until this week, but I'm getting frustrated to have to re-dock it just to power back up.
Check out the actual vivoactive forum,( https://forums.garmin.com/forumdisplay.php?491-vivoactive ) but this sounds like what many people have seen. It probably happens when you hit your step goal, and then you get the fireworks. And you have a custom watchface, correct?
If so, there are two ways to avoid this:
1) switch to the default watchface
2) set your step goal so high you never hit it
Garmin knows about this, but they have yet to issue a fix.
