My boyfriend bought me the Nuvi 54LM so that I would be able to travel back and forth from my house to his house (long distance). Since I live in Ontario, Canada (near the border) and he lives in New Hampshire, whenever I try inputting to go and visit him, it wants to take me via Montreal, which I don't want. I find it much easier to go down through Watertown, NY and then around Utica or Albany and across through Vermont.
I was hoping the Nuvi 54 would have an alternative route option (his GPS that he bought a few months ago does) and he paid more for mine (he bought mine before his) because it was more highly rated.
Is there any possible way of getting alternative routes on the Nuvi 54? I've updated it to the latest update (as of today) and it's kind of a pain to drive to a specific place and then have to reroute the GPS.
