My all activities are getting the same wrong name ( I live in Kaunas, but all activities are named SB "Amaliai").
The wrong thing is that I've never heard of this SB "Amaliai", may I somehow improve this?
Unfortunately at the moment you can't turn this off. If you search the forum there are quite a few threads on this. It works OK for a lot of people and locations but is meaningless or just wrong for others. Hopefully Garmin will listen and give the option to turn it off.
Often times, the name used is from GPS data for your local state/country, and in some places is an uncommon name for the locale, such as the voting district, school district, etc.
But his location is added to all my activities in my town (there is about 300 000 citizen in Kaunas) , in about 10km radius.. The sad and funny thing is, that added location is called something like Gardening Communnity "Bugs" . And it is not located somethere near. I would like just to completely aturn it off in my case..
just change the name. Easy to do, go into edit mode, highlight, type new name. I do it for every ride. It's not just a Garmin Connect issue. None of the other sites or software I use come up with a name I like.
