Elevation data ignored on import

The attached .fit file contains elevation data that is being ignored by Garmin Connect. I tried disabling Elevation Correction but it results in an error: An error was encountered when attempting to save the Elevation Corrections. Please try again. The elevation data created is not actual elevation data from the location of the ride, it is artificially generated by the Zwift virtual cycling application. The elevation data works fine in Zwift and SportTracks as well as Garmin Training Center.

Please, advise. Let me know if you find anything wrong in the fit file and I'll forward to the Zwift team. At the same time, it works fine in multiple other places, so I suspect Connect isn't reading it properly.

Thanks.
  • I'm having the same problem with all of my Zwift uploads. Interesting to hear that other sites are reading it correctly. I agree, it has to be on Garmin's end.
  • Have you seen any solution to this? I have the same issue. But only on Watopia. The Richmond course worked OK, which is more natural I guess since it is built on a real course. Even if I turn the height adjustment off it still shows no elevation. ¨

The stranger thing as you mention is that other services have no problem showing the data, even when I sync from Garmin connect to the other services it works.
