How is the data from Vivoactive and Vivofit combined in Garmin Connect?

Hi guys,

I already have a Vivofit and I'm planning to buy Vivoactive to use it for workouts only (like cycling, running, etc.) and not for activity tracking because I'm already wearing my Vivofit all the time.

The question is - does Garmin Connect combine data well when you use more than one activity tracking device? Is it going to accumulate all steps from all devices? Will I run into any issues with sleep tracking?

Ok, now I can answer my own question. For those who still might be interested: when you have more than one activity tracking device (like Vivoactive and Vivofit in my case), Garmin Connect asks you which one you use for activity tracking, and will simply ignore steps/sleep data from all other devices.

vivofit and fenix 3 as trackers

Thank you very much for your information. I've recently bought a Fenix 3 using it as a tracker. However Im thinking of buying a vivofit 2, to use it as a tracker when i wont wear my fenix 3. I am not sure if this is possible and if there wont be any issue in data syncing from both trackers (like counting both steps or something like that)

I would be very glad if you can give a hand and tell me your advice.

    Thanks in advance
