training plan schedule not showing on 910xt

Schedule sync issue to garmin 910xt
I finished one training plan which appeared on my 910 device with the schedule. Today I tried to upload new training plan from calendar in garmin connect. I can see that workouts are uploading to the device. On device sync menu there are two items - workouts and schedule. unfortunately when I try to access schedule on 910xt there is no such option, once I am not able to use the schedule AS I DID BEFORE. I did reset the device, reinstall express, rebooted the system (OS X Yosemite 10.10.3), but that did not help. I have spent almost 2 hours trying to fix that but got nowhere. Ocassionally I also get an "error syncing with garmin connect" from Garmin Express. Please post if there is a known fix to this issue. I believe that the upgrades should actually upgrade some features not to "downgrade" the usability and disabling features that worked fine and were quite useful.

    I have the same issue. When i try to upload the training plan to my 910 everything looks fine, but the Schedule section on the watch is not there! so frustrating, even more so as it is not a cheap bit of kit! Have had email from Garmoin stating this is a known issue but no date set on fix yet! COME ON GARMIN SORT IT OUT!!!!!!

  • Yesterday I tried the same, I have the same problem with the schedule part of the training plan, which can't upload to garmin 910 xt. I also update the garmin express, there is a new version here, but the problem still exists, one Answer from Garmin Official Plz!!!!

    +1. Same. The workouts are in the Custom menu but I don't have the Scheduled menu anymore.

    I have been having the exact same issue since at least 18 May 2015. from the Classic mode, It says data sucessfully sent but there are no scheduled workouts. From the Modern mode it says "failed to sync". The workouts loaded to the watch but the scheduled workout function does not work - it's just gone. Can we get this fixed?

    Same issue here. I have been phoning, mailing support and writing on the norwegian facebook-site for three weeks now. Beeing constantly asked to do "fixes" I already tried before i rang the first time - updated, tried different browsers and so forth. Have used the training plan for some years, done the exact same procedure, and now it just dont work.

    On the off chance a Garmin dev is watching this thread, I've determined this issue is not related to OS (Windows or Mac). Neither is it related to the version of Garmin Express (Windows, Mac, Old or New). Further, it is not related to the firmware on the 910 (3.0 or 3.2). It would seem then the most likely culprit is some change in the schedule file format being pushed by Garmin Connect?

    A little more research reveals the same trouble occurring in the 610. Again, this isn't occurring on the user end. It would seem to be localized to the "10" devices.

    A portion of an email I recieved today from Garmin:

    Thank you for contacting Garmin International. I will be happy to further assist you with this. I spoke with my help desk, and we have been seeing some issues with the Schedule not sending to devices. We would like to create a case for the issue to have our engineers take a look.


    Hopefully we'll see a fix soon!
