Activity mixup - someone else's activity replaced mine

Question

I was syncing my activities from past 2 days into Garmin Connect from 910xt / v3.0 with Garmin Express (v3.something) and from 4 activities to be synced one was replaced by an activity that is not mine, now both my watch and garmin connect show this activity. The activity happened roughly at the same time, has a similar distance. Has anyone encoutered anything like this? Can my activity be recovered?
