Garmin 910xt segment to device?

I do not seem to be able to download segments to my device. Is the 910xt not compatible? I am using garming express and garmin connect and would like to know when a segment is coming up. tks

I have the same problem. Does anyone have a solution, or is the 910xt simply not compatible?

I can't even find a list of 'compatible' devices to verify. As I can send other workouts to my device, and Connect 'knows' when I've passed through a segment and even gives me a time, I can only assume it is possible. But when I look at leaderboards, I'm nowhere to be seen.
