Nonsensical Weekly Calorie Goals

I'm trying to set up weekly Goals for Calories and track them in Garmin Connect. I have set this for "All Activities" starting on Monday of this week and extending for "7 Days."

I have done one workout, walked a little, and biked a little yesterday. I've done nothing today. My Active Calories graph shows 685 Calories burned.

My Goals graph shows 1,244 Calories burned. . . almost double my Active Calories! I've noticed this for every week. When I select any Activity individually (Walking, Cycling, etc.) the totals are in line with Active Calories. Obviously, there is some ghost activity or something sneaking in, or something is being double counted.

What is going on?
