How to import courses into Garmin Connect

How do I import an existing course into Garmin connect?

I've read several threads on this and thought I've found a path using https://connect.garmin.com/api/upload/widget/manualUpload.faces but it gave an error. The app within Garmin connect doesn't seem to have any import option.

I have today returned to Garmin Connect after several months away to find a new (rubbish) interface, can i get the classic back. I certainly don`t want bloody great big boxes all over the screen.

I have an activity on my on my device, Edge Touring, that was changed to a course within the device but I now can`t send the course to Connect as it only accepts tcx or gpx files and not fit .

Help please.

Upload the activity (not the course) into Garmin Connect if you haven't done so already, and then "Save as course" in Garmin Connect.
