New activity not showing

Hi,

This evening I have connected my Forerunner 305 and sync'ed it with Garmin Express. Everything appeared fine until I opened the Connect web page, the activity was not present! Under reports it shows I have run 3,12 miles but under activities it only shows activities that have come through from MyFitnessPal. I have tried rebooting my PC and sync-ing the device again but still the problem remains.

I would appreciate any helpful information about what is causing this and more importantly, how to get it resolved.

  • I have the 305 also. I recently upgraded to 4.0.17 and found that it didn't sync my activity properly the first time i tried with the new version. Because the activity didn't sync, the activity remained visible on the watch. Then I selected the Forerunner in express in advance, reconnected it to the clip, and it synced fine.

    Until 4.0.17, my watch was off when I would sync but this time I had it on when I attached it to the clip. That was a one time problem that hasn't reoccured.

    I have the same problem Garmin 310XT, since the Garmin Connect update (mine was just under two weeks ago) I'm losing all new data when transferring. Not only that, that data is wiped off the watch as well. Thus lost forever.
    This must be an error in the update - surely Garmin should have replied by now- seems plenty of complaints.
  • Just checked my device after reading your posts and can see the data has gone from the watch, so therefore gone forever! I am out on a cycle later and will see what happens after that....

    Agree that Garmin should be responding to these complaints.
