I'm planning an out and back trip using the Garmin edge 1000. Now I've learnt enough about it, to split this into two trips, an 'Out' course and a 'Back' course otherwise the TBT will disappear up it's own fundament in a spiral of u-turns.
So I create the course, using Garmin Connect, Save it as 'Out' and send it to the device. So far so good.
I naively thought I would edit this course, reversing it, re-naming it as 'Back' then sending it to the device. That also works, but in doing so, the 'Out' course disappears from the device completely. The only way round this is to re-enter the whole course from scratch again, in the reverse direction. I have done this enough times now to work out that this is what is happening.
There has to be a better way than this, surely?
