Custom Workout Sync & other issues through Connect & 920 xt

(as I was typing this post I reset my device for a THIRD time and it did fix error #1 below, but I post my frustrations none the less)

I just recently upgraded to the 920xt from the 310xt, where I had significant issues with synching since the Connect launch. Hoping to fix this I ponied up the money for newer technology but I am still having issues as it is clearly a problem with Connect and not the devices.

1) After creating 8 new custom workouts and manually scheduling 3 months worth to coincide with my Sprint Tri training I clicked 'Send to Device' and all of my Sprint Tri plan activities came over but only ONE of my custom workouts. All of the custom workout were identical in steps, the only difference was the name. Several of them occurred BEFORE the only one that made it, so it's not a date thing. NOTE: After THIRD reset the custom workouts finally appeared, but TODAY's workout did not. But it wouldn't be Garmin Connect without one little issue ;)
2) Also, when I go to Training >> My Workouts none of the Cycling workouts appear, despite showing up in the Calendar. After my THIRD factory reset nothing shows up despite my workouts appearing on my Training Calendar.
3) I Hard reset the device. When re-pairing the device I used Garmin Express initially... and it crashed when I clicked to setup WiFi.
4) I constantly get errors that say 'switch to modern' despite not having clicked on any 'switch to classic' links, although I would love that (see screenshot for one I got when trying to 'send to device')
5) I have the latest version of Express, but am not using it to synch after initial setup, although the box always pops up saying I need to use it despite the instructions saying use WiFi... (see screenshot). Usability suggestion... ask me how I want to upload the information to my device!!!

I know it has been well documented here, but as someone who works in the web space can attest, launching a snazzy interface without QA testing nor usability testing is a really really really bad idea, as evidenced by current Garmin Connect. I used to LOVE the Classic version, but since the upgrade I have had nothing but issues and it is making me think about switching brands at this point. Maybe I shouldn't expect things to just 'work' when spending several hundred dollars? But maybe that's just the Apple crowd I guess...

Just checking back in since there have not been any replies. Today #1 from above occurred yet again. I pushed 2 workouts back a day as I took yesterday off, so I pushed yesterday's to today and today's to tomorrow in the Garmin Connect calendar. I synched (three attempts, 1) the Bluetooth Mobile App failed... which happens a lot 2) WiFi couldn't find the ALWAYS ON network 3) Finally found said network and synched) and both Today's and Tomorrow's workouts were gone! I can't keep doing hard resets just because there is a glitch in your system. What is the fix for this reoccurring issue? Note that I have consulted others in the triathlon realm experiencing the exact same issues but they just 'deal with it'. I just want it to work as advertised, that is all. Thank you.

PS: I want to point out that the watch itself is great and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone NOT needing to synch workouts. But Garmin Connect is an extension to the watch and if they can't play nicely together then the watch loses its value.
