account problems.

Hi,
Both my partner & I have Garmin connect accounts & obviously both have garmin devices, however, since June last year, my device will only download to my partners account along with his! It will not download to mine at all. Somehow my My Fitness Pal account is now doing the same. It wasn't so bad when I could manually download to my own account, but now I can't even do that. Has anyone any ideas as to what I can do to stop this happening?
  • Sounds like either you or Garmin have confused your account details somehow. How are you downloading from your devices? Are you using Express? If so are you ensuring it is showing the relevant device being connected?

    If it is then your best bet is to contact Product Support and explain the issue to them. Alternatively if you're using Express post the problem in the Express forum with details of your devices and accounts and the Express team may be able to help.
  • I've tried downloading using Garmin Express & also the automatic download that happens when the ant stick is plugged in. All happens the same. It started when I swapped my PC for a Mac, not sure if that is relevant. I can't check the product on my account as it won't download anything, but it comes up with whichever watch is downloading at the time on my partners account. Maybe the problem is that we have the same watches? Obviously different serial numbers though. I am getting a new watch soon & am worried this will still be an issue.
