Help needed - Segment Rank not showing

Hi I wonder whether anyone can help me please regarding the Segment section in Garmin Connect.

My privacy settings are as follows:

'Who can see your new activity' Everyone
'Participate in segments' Yes

I want to see my ranking on the leaderboard but my name doesn't show up. The drop down menu is set to Everyone. A message appears where my ranking should be saying 'If you change your activity privacy to Everyone, you will be ranked here'.

I have checked my privacy settings again and again and they are all correct. This is becoming really annoying, can anyone help me please. I am using a Garmin Vivoactive.

    I had the same issue and persistence pays off! They sure haven't made it easy. You have to unlock each of the activities individually to get them to appear in the segments. Here's how to do it:

    1) From the main menu select the 'Activities' page - all of your activities will appear in a table
    2) Click on the 'Quick Edit' menu option (top left of the activities page) - the same activity details appear in editable format but with a new 'privacy' option
    3) The 1st menu title option is 'Privacy' - if yours are locked then the padlock image will be shown as locked
    4) Left click on the padlock icon and select 'Everyone' from the list that appears - you will have to do this for each activity you wish to appear in segments
    5) When you've set the privacy option, don't forget to click 'Finish' at the top of the page!

    Sorry for the late reply. Thanks so much for explaining this. I did as you said and everything worked fine for a few weeks, now I've disappeared once again even though I hadn't changed any of the new settings.
    I have checked and double checked and everything is as you said, but alas I'm know where to be seen. This is bloody frustrating!

    I think there is a problem with Segments right now. My name has disappeared out of ALL of the segments I'm in. Even the segments I created!

    Same problem here all segment rankings have disappeared but for the three segments I passed today and those have only todays times
    Clearly a CG problem (again)

    Same here - all my rankings have disappeared except 2 that I created. Must be some issues....
  • Same here, also for most activities with segments it shows zero values for speed and time.
  • Same story for me. None of my segments show my data or ranking. Even the ones I created. If these guys want to stay in this business, they need to get some programmers working on these issues.

    Same here. All of my segments are listed but no data. Anyone have any ideas as to what is happening or to a possible fix? The Garmin Status site says all is well.

    It's the same here. Segment rankings do not show up any more. This seems to be the case since the segment times of older activities are not recognized any more (set to 00:00min). See for example the following activity: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/744370994

    Quite frustrating to say the least....

    GARMIN please address ASAP, including checking the history of the activity of different users. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO START THE SEGMENT HISTORY/TIMES FROM SCRATCH NOW!
