Unable to download course to 920xt

I bought a 920xt 3 weeks ago and am having trouble downloading a course from garmin connect to it. I have updated garmin express, disconnected the 920xt from expess and reconnected it, ensured the software on my mac and the device are all up to date.

No matter what I do, garmin connect will not download the course i have selected to my 920xt. I keep getting an error saying "1 file failed".

I have also tried using wifi and bluetooth. Neither method works. I have also contacted garmin twice and have had zero reply.

This was part of the reason i spent a lot of money on a watch. I wanted to be able to download courses to it as I do a lot of trail running.

I'm having the same issue - zero success transfer a course. Tried also dropping a CRS on the device manually with no success
