Export Original feature "Forbidden" in Garmin Connect Modern

I have never tried this before today, but in Garmin Connect Modern it gives the user the option to "Export Original" along with the TCX or GPX file. I assume by original it means the .fit file. But if I click that option, it tells me access is forbidden. Why? GPX and TCX exports work fine.

Just wait a bit and you are able to DL the .fit file. I have seen this a few times so far and was "resolved" by waiting a little time.

You mean just wait on the "Apache Tomcat/7.0.28" page that says Forbidden for a while? I just tried again on a different activity and I've left it for a few minutes and the page doesn't change. No download has occurred.

No. Just do other things or take a shower, drink coffee, later re-open your training to export the original from and then try to export it again...

I have the same issue. If I switch to classic, then back to modern, it works.

Just wanted to say thanks, this fixed the error for me. Annoying bug!

If you press F5, the page will reload from your cache. If you press Ctrl + F5, you will force a reload. That should do the trick, too. Or just close and reopen the browser. It happens quite frequently, though.
