Updated ios, but still can't install

I'm trying to make it so I can download the data from my Garmin Forerunner 110 to my Mac. I apparently didn't have the latest OS, so updated (from 10.6 to 10.7). I can now download the Garmin Express software, but when I try to install it, it comes up with the error message: This version of Garmin Express will not run on your system. For more information visit http://software.garmin.com/en-US/osx.html which tells me I need to update to 10.7

I am now using 10.7.5, and that is as much as I am able to update my machine. I'm getting really frustrated that I have spent so much money on this damn watch, and now can't use the main features because I am on an older computer.

Can anyone please help?

I'm having the same problem. I clicked on the link to download the legacy version.

I even checked, before I bought Garmin Forerunner 15, that my Mac was on the right release. It's on 10.7.5 too.

When I try to run the installer, I have this same problem. When I follow the link it is implying I am on 10.6.

I have checked all the other tech requirements by digging around in Mac About…and have them all…Intel, enough memory etc. Seeing your post I've since tried a load of times but still the same error. I even rebooted, still nothing.

I have emailed support but got a standard reply that they will get back to me in 3 days! How ironic that I paid extra for first class postage…

Really disappointed right now :-(

I kept thrashing around the site, for want of anything better to do. I found a different page with a download option. I got different software when I clicked to download the legacy version. The first few tries I had got files with modification date stamp 2 April 2015 22.20, 15.9MB.

The version - that has now installed - is from 8 April 2015 17.38, 18.6MB.

So, it looks like that in some places the link goes to the newer version of the software from 8th April.

I used this URL: http://software.garmin.com/en-US/express.html to get the 8th April software.

The link from the user manual goes here: https://connect.garmin.com/en-US/start, and the link for the legacy version goes to the older software from 2 April, which doesn't work.

Please, Garmin, update the link from the manual to the newer software.
