Connect 2 devices in one Garmin Connect Account

Hi all!

My question is simple!
Can I connect two divices in on account? Does it work properly with no conflict of data?

I mean, I have a Fenix 2 for training but I intent to buy a vivosmart to day by day track, is it a good combination?

Regards
  • I have a vivosmart and a FR305 in the same account. I just used both in a bike ride. I created an activity in the forerunner and not in the vivosmart and there was no conflict although I imagine there was some double-counting of calories. Where there would be a significant conflict is if both devices count steps as only one device can be defined as the main tracker.

BTW, I also have a vivofit setup in another account. I have the 2 accounts connected so I can see both in the same widget
  • My Vivofit and FR620 both have step counting ability, but when I run with both devices (I never take off the Vivofit), my steps are not double counted.
  • Good to know that double counting doesn't occur. Originally double counting did occur, and Garmin had a plan to rectify this. I'm glad to hear they've rectified the multi-device scenario. I might pick up a vivofit2 to complement my Fenix3.
  • When you have two step counters, you define which is the primary tracker in your account info.
