I've read several posts on this issue dating back as far as 2012 and no-one has responded with a definite answer as to rectifying the issue.
The problem is as follows:
I have tried to transfer data from an FR60 to Garmin Connect with no success.
1. The Garmin Express method:
connect the ANT stick and GE finds the device but reports that it is not supported - this is contrary to Garmin's documentation which states that the FR60 is supported.
2. The Garmin ANT Agent method:
ANT Agent finds the FR60 and transfers data to the now redundant Training Centre application but reports that it unable to connect to Garmin Connect.
The computer is a Toshiba Sattelite L50-A running Windoze 8.1 x64
I have am Edge 800 which experiences none of these issues transferring data to GC, and both the Edge 800 and the FR60 can transfer data to Strava
I have tried updating the firmware, loading the latest versions of GE and ANT Agent, removing ANT Agent and using only GE, removing GE and using only ANT agent - still no luck.
Given that this is a common issue, don't you think it's time the Connect & GE development teams addressed it? No point sticking your heads in the sand guys, it's not going away!!
