Unable to load new activity to Garmin Connect

Hello all,

Hope someone can help. I am unable to upload my cycling activity from my Edge 800 to Connect. When I try and upload the file the status remains at Uploading without completing the upload. I have also tried 'manually' import the file but this fails too with the error 'An error occurred with your upload. Please try again.'

I'm guessing the file has somehow become corrupt; is anyone able to repair the corruption to allow it to be uploaded? I've attached a copy.
