Weird mismatch between calories Garmin Connect/ MyFitnessPal

Not a sync issue as seems to be syncing fine, and number discrepancy does not match any particular item.

Today's numbers:

MFP (Goal) 1360 - (Food) 1492 + (Exercise*) 128 = (Remaining) -4

*Exercise is Garmin Connect adjustment, activity level set to sedentary in MFP.

Connect ((Goal 1360) (Consumed) 1491 - (Active) 182 = (Net) 1209 (51 remaining)

As you can see the Goal is the same, but the calorie intake is different, as is the exercise adjustment.

I'm confused...

    Same here

Mine is doing the exact same thing, down to the single calorie discrepancy for food/consumed. I'm sure we are not the only two people experiencing this - anyone have insight on what is causing this?

Same problem here and it is really bothering me. Love my Vivoactive otherwise. Would also like to see my calories remaining on my wrist rather than going to my phone all the time (via a widget). Of course, after they fix the calorie issue. Hope someone answers soon.

Mine does the same, however in the Garmin connect app everything seems to be precise...

  • No update on this issue? I just got a Vivosmart 4 and it's got the exact problem. I feel like I must use MFP's numbers since they control the calories consumed, Right?
