Garmin Express Not Syncing - 910xt

For the second time in one week I went to sync my ride and Garmin Express gave be an error message. Now my file is lost in the Garmin black hole. This is becoming very frustrating and I have seen multiple reports. I have the most current Garmin Express. I had deleted Garmin Express and re-installed it yet again. Today came another update. Removed the device and reconnected that again too. Anyone continuing to have the same trouble??? Training season is coming and I need something reliable.
