No segments showing on garmin connect

i am not sure why lately the " segments " of my bike rides are not coming up on Garmin Connect . it says "no segments recorded ".
i am riding over roads i have ridden many times and have had segments recorded before .

Wait to hear from anyone re this . all else is working ok
  • Also having same problem - is it due to system problem as it took 3 attempts to sync last ride?

    Noticed auto naming ride was disabled.
  • i also had problems syncing last three rides which were the ones where no segments recorded . i have rung Garmin and they said i need to delete all data from Garmin 800 and re enter [ have forgotten tech name for this ] .

    i do not want to do this so has anyone else got an answer to this .

    The segments are those that Garmin have nominated they are not ones i have instigated .

    i also had problem initially naming ride .

    so what is the solution ?

    The same for me: in my last bike ride I surely passed through a well known segment but when I transferred my activity to Garmin Connect, it told me "no segment recorded".

    I had the same problem yesterday with two segments that were also shown and are available in my Edge 810.

    Guys I've been having the same problem with another one to boot. It seems that I can create a new segment in GC, but will it heck as like let me transfer it to my Edge1000 so that I can capture data. Wish Garmin would employ people who fix bugs and test their systems properly...GRRRRRR

    Exactly the same problem for me. "No segment recorded" and it's not true. Big bugs in Garmin Connect !!!

  • Problem is solved in my Garmin.
    Moreover, I found a method to have segments in activities in which segements had not been previously found. I deleted these activities from Garmin Connect and then imported them again from my computer. I found them in 'C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GarminConnect\Forerunner 310XT-number_of_my_watch\FIT_TYPE_4'.

    Deleting the activity and loading it again seems to solve the issue with segments. At least it worked in my case
