Once my activity is synced I cannot click on the activity to open it. I can log off and login, click on activities and nothing happens. This behavior happens regardless of the pc I access Garmin Connect from. Great devices for the bike, but a very inefficient and frustrating data interface.
That's strange, not seen that problem raised before and while there are occasional issues with Connect I've always been able to open activities. Have you ever been able to open Activities? And is this both in Modern and Classic? What OS are you using?
I can open activities from time to time, but not consistently. I have used Chrome, IE, and Safari. All the same results. Just switched to classic view and I can open.
Well the good thing is, Garmin Connect consistently doesn't work. Can't open activities, can't switch to classic, and can't sign out. Keep getting various versions of the same message: Access Denied
I have the same problem with my Forerunner 305. Connecting device with Garmin express works. But if I try to see my activities at Garmin connect since several weeks the same message: You don't have permission to access "connect.garmin.com/dashboard" on this server. You don't have permission to access "connect.garmin.com/.../settings" on this server. Reference #18.a3d91002.1427707563.25c1ad00 I can see the dashboard but thats all.
The german garmin support did´n´t answer since a long time. So could you help me?
With all browsers and all devices: PC, Netbook, Notebook, Samsung s4, ....
Well, my issues continue. Have been in contact with Support, no fix. Bottom line, I got an email stating they were working on the problem. Smoke and Mirrors in my opinion. At the this point, I will start to investigate my options to use some other system besides Garmin to collect data. Very disappointing!!
I believe that anyone can reproduce the "Access Denied" issue by simply clicking around the Garmin Connect website and hitting refresh a few times.
Support will give you the runaround, pointing the finger at your ISP, router, laptop, etc. But I can tell you for sure that this is some kinda system or security limitation being set on Garmin's web servers. I say this with authority as an internet software engineer and software architect.
Whomever is in charge of Garmin's web operations should be fired. They've made several critical architecture mistakes, and this Access Denied issue is but one symptom.
