Goal Creation: Difference Between 30-Day and Calendar Month Period

Can anyone enlighten folks like myself who would like to know the difference between the 30-Day Period and Calendar Month Period?

I was trying to create a goal for myself in GC, and in the Measured Over those two are among the choices in the dropdown list. So if, for example, I would like to create a personal goal for the entire month of April, which of the two should I select? Or what about in May which has 31 days?

Thanks.
  • Simple if you want to set a goal for the complete month then set Calendar Month - that would give you 28 days to achieve your goal in February and 31 days in October. If you set a 30 Day goal starting on 1st February then it will complete at the end of 2nd March.

Ok I get it. Thanks JSRUNNER! I've saved your note as a reminder too. :)
