Export to TCX - Where's the Elevation Data?

Same here as of today. At first I couldn't export at all. When it did let me, the elevation data is absent. I did get elevation/altitude as late at March 09. Now nothing, and I need it. Edge 500, not that that matters - it a Connect problem.

If you make your activities public & provide a link then we might be able to confirm whether we're all seeing the same thing. Could be more examples of the bug I reported in early Decemberin this thread.

I have also problems exporting the activity to GPX or KML. There is no Elevation data since some days ago. Tested with 2 different equipements: Forerunner 405 and Garmin Edge

I was okay, Edge 500, as of 20150309. On the 12th I got the permissions message, but that cleared and I was able to export tcx (which I need for altitude data). I think the permission problem was due to the ongoing 'name' updates.
My specifics:
Connect shows elevation data for all rides. I can go back and export tcx for any prior (to Mar 12) ride and get a good file with altitude data. I can export Mar 12 file to tcx and get a good file BUT THERE IS NO ALTITUDE TAG/DATA. The altitude data shows on the elevation graph on the Connect page, so why for this ride doesn't the altitude data export?
And does anybody at Garmin track these reports for problems/resolutions???

This is the last run I had with elevation data in the .tcx export. It was 3/9/15:

I have the same problem. It appeared on March 11: since that day, every TCX I export is missing both the data for elevation and instantaneous pace (longitude, latitude, time and distance are correctly outputted though). Here are the activities where the problem occurs:

Weirdly, Garmin connect manages to display correctly the green curve (for elevation) and the blue curve (for pace) on the website, which indicates that the data exists (why isn't it exported in the TCX then?). Another weird observation: when I re-export an older activity (e.g., https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/716495136 ) it is correctly exported (meaning that the TCX contains elevation and pace data). So the problem is not just due to some new bug in the "TCX export" function, but it is specific to the TCX export of newly uploaded activities...
I sent an email to the technical support (well, the French one; I don't know if they forward any information to the international tech support) and they basically replied "Yes, the TCX is sometimes bugged. Thank you for your message." :confused:

Altitude and speed are missing in my TCX file. I'd like them back.

Exporting TCX but no altitude data?

This has always worked but from 3 days ago when I export new bike rides as TCX files all the altitude data is missing. Is it just me or has something gone wrong with Garmin Connect export function?

Yeah, it looks like it has been a problem with TCX export for the last 4 days (see this other thread: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?220362-Export-to-TCX-Where-s-the-Elevation-Data ). No reply from Garmin so far...

Thanks very much guys. Used TC to sort out today but I don't have the fit file for Thursday anymore so hopefully this can be sorted out. It's frustrating when it doesn't work!
