ANT Stick Not Connected

I updated Express, I currently have Version 4.0.8.0. I do not have the ANT agent installed. If I disconnect and reconnect my ANT stick, I can do a sync. But at some point Garmin Express "forgets" that my ANT stick is there, and I have to unplug and replug to get a sync. Why does Garmin Express "forget" that the ANT stick is there?

  • It shouldn't. However, if you have a power saving option activated to turn off your usb ports to save power, I can see how that might affect it.
  • Similar problem. Garmin Express says "Ant Stick Not Connected" despite me verifying via my computer's system report that the computer is recognizing the ANT stick - it shows up as ANT USBStick2. Running the latest GE version, the watch's firmware is up to date, and running OSX 10.10.2. Tried multiple USB ports, restarting, etc. but Garmin Express keeps displaying the "Ant Stick Not Connected" message.
  • Since this is a Garmin Express issue, you might have better luck getting an answer by posting in a Garmin Express forum, which are among the few Garmin forums actively patrolled by actual Garmin reps. As far as I know, the Garmin Express guys do not come to the other Garmin forums (including Garmin Connect, where you are posting) looking for questions about GE. You have to go meet them on their home turf if you want them to answer your questions about GE.
