Activity not syncing on Garmin Connect from Vivofit

I am having an odd issue today - I synced my vivofit via my Garmin Connect app on my iPhone6, and it all updated fine except for my Activity, which still shows Monday's date and activity.

I was watching my heart rate on my vivofit constantly last night, due to frequent disconnects prior to me replacing the battery, and heart rate was registering fine - no dropouts at all. Yet today it's as though there was no data collected from the 2 hours spent at the gym!

All 9000+ steps registered normally...
  • There is an acknowledgement from Garmin for this issue but in another thread. They said they are aware of the problem; working on a fix; and don't need more information to complete the fix. They don't give an ETA at this point.

I thought they were to put notices on Connect from now on?

I also started having this problem with a Vivofit and iPhone 6 a few days ago. I see my heart rate on the vivofit when exercising, but after syncing no activity appears in the Connect app. Steps do seem to be updated

Same here. I am also seeing my vivofit just deciding to stop monitoring my heart rate part way through a work out. Very frustrating. I've had to manually enter the workouts at least three times in the last two weeks.

Same issue, hope they figure it out soon. Biggest looser is here and I need to know how many calories I am burning. Garmin fix the issue please.

I'm having the same issue - activities with heart monitor not now syncing - when they have previously for the last couple of months. Very annoying. Garmin you can't just ignore these issues you have to respond with a fix date. If not I know I'll be switching to products with better support

They report Connect status. Not the list of bugs they are working on.

    connect.garmin.com/en-US/status

If I were them, I would not provide a resolution date until I had an excellent idea of what was causing the bug.
  • I have the same issue but it's with activities in general. I tried adding a workout in MFP to sync across and it failed. Same goes for my Garmin Swim watch synced through the Wahoo ant adapter and my iPhone, this also failed to show up in connect.

At about 11am EST, this is what they said about this issue on FaceBook.....

"Sorry about the troubles with the activities not showing up. We're looking into what is causing this and working on a resolution. If any of you are not using a vívofit paired with a heart rate monitor, we'd ask that you please email us directly for troubleshooting.

    Thank you for your patience!

Unfortunately, I cannot find anywhere about WHEN the issue will be fixed.....
  • happening for 2 days now Garmin...and it's not like it's the first time these issues have occurred. i've had vivofit since it first came out and the level of "fickle-ness" is wearing on me now. i see no significant improvements in the app since inception and putting up with constant bugs is making me consider competitors, which i've never wanted to do because would force me to have different types of activities in different locations again, the primary reason i moved to vivofit. we use edge 810 for cycling and i used to use polar for "gym" and other type workouts, and livestrong for food tracking. now all my workouts are same place and connected to myfitnesspal automatically for food, but holy cow, the number of issues that happen on repeated basis is ridiculous :(
