wrong dates on Health tab

Somehow, a number of my previous weight entry dates have been changed radically. They show up as happening in the September 1015, and I am NOT 999 years old. I thought it was possibly just one bad data point, but now I've deleted several and the graph still looks like this (see screenshot). I cannot find a way to mass edit/delete old entries other than clicking one by one on the graph. However, I would prefer to have these "fixed" rather than lose the data if those weight entries are not duplicated. What can I (or Garmin) do to fix this?

Thanks,
Scott

    Still a problem

Will someone PLEASE help me with this issue? There is no way that I can see to fix the problem myself. I have deleted several more data points from 1900, and the problem remains, so I have no idea how much data I will lose if I continue this way.
  • From your screenshots, it's obvious to me that somewhere along the way you ended up with a record somewhere between the year 1000 and 1100. Rather than try to find it yourself, I'd contact support who should be able to find and delete it through a back door.

    Phil,
Thanks, and you're right, but it's actually a LOT of records. How many, i have no idea. From the classic view, I am able to click on one at a time and delete them, but so far I've deleted several (maybe 20 or so, just guessing), and I have no way of knowing how many there are. I hate losing that much data, but even more, I hate not knowing how long I'll be at it once I start. I was hoping Garmin Support could see a problem and easily recover my data.
  • Rather than delete, can you edit the dates instead? In Modern, it gives you the option although I never actually tried it.
  • A long time ago I had a number of spurious entries created on connect through some quirk on connect at the time - there were hundreds - way too many for me to remove. I contacted support and they cleansed the data for me - I suggest that you raise an incident with them - although they get a lot of bad press on here they can be very helpful at times :)
