Garmin Montana 650 Not Turning On

Hey, I've got a Garmin Montana 650, won it in an adventure race in 2013 and used it once, just pulled it out of the box the other day and tried to start it and it won't work. I've had it plugged in to an outlet, computer, put in 3 AA batteries and nothing works. It turns on, shows the Garmin logo, then the screen goes white and shuts off. Holding down the power button down keeps the logo up for about 15-20 seconds, then white screen and turns off. Any thoughts/help/advice? Anyone have/had a similar problem?
