Stopped Synching, time incorrect

Have had my Garmin Vivofit since November 14. Has worked perfectly til last week clock is few minutes off. Have to resync. to get correct time. Now today will not synch at all. Message on screen: Error in connecting with widget. Any ideas? Thank you.
