Weight never updates in Connect

Hi All,
For some reason, no matter where I change my weight, it always stays the same. I have tried to change it many times in new Garmin connect, old Garmin connect and iOs Garmin Connect, and after I make and save the change in personal information, it returns back to what it was.
Any ideas?
Regards
..
  • In my case, the weight that appears in Personal Information is derived from the weight I enter in the weight graph widget. Did you try changing it there?

    Thanks for the reply Phil.
Yeh - i think I try it everywhere. So I just retried in the modern browser version of Garmin connect and on the mobile.
The graph seems right but it always shows the last weight as 77.1. Drives me nuts:)
  • Hi,

I have the same problem, the weight stuck at 98,7 kg instead of the 82,1 kg that I am trying to change it to. I've changed it in the widget on the dashboard, in Settings, on the watch and everywhere else I could think of + I have connected to MyFitnessPal which get updated by FitBit. But the weight reading reverts back to the too high value all the time and what worse is - it get syncs to my watch! So I guess that every calorie reading, training effect reading and what have you are all way wrong as the weight is some 10-15% off?

Garmin representatives; Any ideas what to do?

    Kind regards/Mike

I have the same problem, the weight stuck at 179.3 lbs instead of the 177.6lbs that I 've tried to change it to. I've changed it in the widget on the dashboard, and in Settings. I have connected to MyFitnessPal which get updated by vivofit. But the weight reading reverts back . this has been happening ever since the last update to 4.00

Garmin representatives; Please consider fixing this--

    Thank you
  • I was having the same problem and had tried a few things previously to correct it but this afternoon I noticed in the Garmin Connect site that when I looked at the measurements in the Garmin Connect site that there was a measurement record that was dated more than a year from now.

When I deleted this record, the problem went away, so I can only assume that the system was simply looking at the most recent weight measurement and it wasn't able to identify it as being incorrect because it was in the future.

I'm not sure how this happened to me but I've now fixed the problem that I'd experienced.

    Hope that this helps others.
  • Nice find.

    BTW, what's a measurement?

Ah ha! Good spotting mate! I had a measurement set for October this year. Not sure how I missed that. I've deleted it and things are back to normal.
