I've not been able to upload a workout to my Garmin 620 for more than a couple of weeks now. I only get the following messaging in a pop-up window "Unable to send workout to device. Please try again later." I'm using a Mac with Safari 7.1.3, OS X 10.9.5 Garmin Communicator Plugin 4.2.0.0 . Anyone overcome this?
Ok. I switched from traditional to Modern view on Garmin Connect. Started Garmin Express. Selected the Workouts tab from the left drop down menu. In Workouts selected send to device and hey presto, a new style window popped up asking me to select a device [watch]. I hit send and it transferred! ... Just for fun, I switched back to traditional view and the transfer failed again with the same error. It looks like support is being phased out for the previous version of interface. :-( Anyway I seem to have a workaround. I will let Garmin Support know... if they get back to me.
I've got this same problem, have tried both Traditional and Modern views as above - but to no avail. Traditional view gives me the 'Try again later' message, whilst the Modern view opens Express Fit but doesn't send any workouts to the connected device.
Has always worked fine until I tried last night. I'm using Mac OS trying to send to a Forerunner 620. Please help!!
Are you using Safari? And do you have the garmin connect plug in downloaded? You will also need Garmin Express on your MAC. After downloading all those things and using the Modern view, I was able to send my WO to my device (a 910xt). Good luck.
Same here, MacOS Yosemite, same problem in Firefox and Safari with 620 and 910XT. Garmin Connect plugin installed, up to date and permitted, Garmin Express installed, launched and up to date.
Uploading via Bluetooth works (though about half the time when I use Bluetooth the watch gets stuck on "Updating" and I have to force it to shut down).
Forgot to try it with the Modern view. I've got all my workouts for the next couple of weeks loaded now, so not going to try again ATM.
