Calendar Separate Totals

This has been asked for multiple times and it's so basic that I can't believe that I'm asking for it again.

Having totals separated out by sport "ON THE CALENDAR VIEW" gives me a single place that I can track and easily compare mileage on a day to day by week. If my weekly running mileage is down, I can easily see that I normally run 4.5 miles on Wednesdays but the last Wednesday I only ran 2 miles. Or it gives me a chance to see that I swapped a Tues for a Wednesday and see that I ran an extra 2 miles.

The point is that I can easily "visually" see my running habits on a monthly calendar format that looks like a calendar and see and compare totals and workout details.

Coming from a Polar, this feature is sorely missed! I lived by my polar calendar!

I have heard that this feature is provided in the reports. Please show me a report that looks like a monthly calendar that has workouts and separate totals on it. I cannot find it. Give me a way to manually edit the totals box of the calendar if you cannot do the software and I'll add them up and enter them myself. ... Give me something !!!!!

  • Can you not just click the checkboxes off for the sports that you don't want to see - I can understand that you might want to see them all split out at the same time but that could create a very cluttered display

    Thank you for responding.
Unfortunately this has no affect on the totals. Unchecking the Activities has the affect of not showing the daily totals but the weekly totals are still there.

Last week I Ran 15.83 and Swam 4525 yards (1 extra day swim). By looking at the totals I get 18.47 miles no matter what I check or uncheck. The extra day of swim is lost in amongst the runs. On my screen there is plenty of room in the totals box for a second column that displays the top 3 sports (Activities). The previous week I ran 3 days and swam 2 for a all inclusive displayed total of 14.53 miles.

I fear that when I start biking in another month this will wipe out all of the other two sport distinctions.

  • Mmm... you are right - a bit naff. The only way to split the figures is by using the dropdown at the foot of the calendar - to show activity totals for each activity type at a time - hope that helps.

The other long winded way would be to set weekly goals which would show down the lefthand side of the calendar but you would need to set them up each week

Thank you That does help a bit. While for some reason the drop down doesn't show my pool swimming, it does allow me to total up just the running.

I'm trying to ramp back up after taking some time off to heal from Sciatica and I've been monitoring my weekly mileage closer than I would normally do.

    Thanx again
    Allan :)
  • Are you running classic or modern - I use classic and can get my swimming and cycling displayed separately by using the dropdown
