Vivosmart Active Calorie Count Discrepancy

My Vivosmart is reporting that I've burned over 4000 calories today, which is unbelievable considering that I've been fairly inactive. Looking at the charts on Connect, there is a drastic difference between my active calories report (759C Total) and my active calories on the total calories report (3058C Active/4199C Total), the latter of which is being reported to MFP and messing up my totals. Step count for this time is 5,127 and I did two very short activities (burning 18 C and 16 C) with the heart rate monitor on and using activity tracking on the Vivosmart. I continued wearing the heart rate monitor for a while after the activities, but my heart rate was normal at that time. Both amounts of active calories burned seem way too high, but the 2300C difference in what should be the same measurement is just beyond my understanding.

I was going to post pictures of the two graphs for comparison, but I can't get them to upload.

Any suggestions on what is causing/how to fix this discrepancy?
