Wrong time recorded on Garmin Connect.

My 920xt shows the right time, the data when uploaded to Strava shows correct time, Garmin Connect has me in the correct time Zone, but it always records and shows my activity for 11 hours in the future ?

It's driving me nuts? What's wrong, what have I missed?

Cheers
  • Can you (convert and) view the GPX file, to see if it the wrong TZ comes from that source?

I am having the same problem with my Edge 510.
  • Same thing happened to me all the time. I read somewhere it happened when editing a workout on the iOS app (may apply to other phones, I use iPhone so not sure). So now I've stopped re-naming my runs and rides on the app and the time is correct.
  • Same thing happens to me (Fenix 2) but not all activities. Haven't figured out the pattern yet, it could be the iOS app as suggested above as I do often edit via that instead of GC.
    Infuriating though!

    OMG you're my savior! :D
I've just tested and the time on my Garmin Connect log instantly changed to a wrong zone (8 hours ahead) after I edited via "Connect" app on my iphone.
Too bad it was the app's fault cause it was so convinient editing on the iphone.
Garmin should please fix thie problem ASAP! :(

This should be logged officially on the Garmin Support Page. It's unlikely you'll get results from the user-to-user-forum.

I did that with a different bug I was able to identify in detail (like this one) and Garmin support called me about it within about 10 minutes.

  • Same here. At first upload (via Garmin Connect on iOS 8) all good. But the next day, the entry became 8 hours ahead.
