If somebody can resolve this for me it will be better than Christmas..
As the leader of a Boy Scout Troop in Kentucky, I was fortunate enough to have somebody give me a Rino 530 that had recently returned from duty in Afghanistan.. I was told the Lithium batter was dead and it would need a new one. This was going to be a great tool for our Scouts to use but before I dropped $80 or so on a new Lithium batter and charger I wanted to make sure it worked.. I spent $20 and purchased the Alkaline pack.
However, once installing it does not power up. I contacted Garmin but was told due to the age of the unit they dont support it any longer. Does anybody have any suggestions?
