Garmin Personal Records

I have a Garmin 410 but I am struggling with personal records. It does not seem to be registering any either on my connect dashboard or on the watch itself. I have been running with it since July 2014 and it has never registered any?

Is there something I have to set?

Not familiar with the 410 but I don't think that it has PRs that record on it - I have a 610 and that certainly doesn't. If you search the forums you'll find a lot of threads on PRs. Basically to record a PR you have to do an activity that has a length pretty close to the distance for that PR not sure of the exact tolerances but for example a run of 5.1KM would register whereas 6KM wouldn't. When you upload a run that qualifies it asks you if you want to replace the current PR. You can also select any activity and set it to one of the PRs - if you do that then you can set any activity to any PR regardless of length.
