Connect - No Elevation data shown

Just uploaded my last weeks activities (from 2nd Feb 2015) from my Forerunner 10 and have found that Connect shows no elevation data. I've uploaded the FIT files onto my PC and other 3rd party FIT utilities indicates that the elevation data is present. I've not had a similar problem in the past.

Any ideas?

Just came on to see if this was something I was experiencing or if it was a known issue. I have been concerned the past few days because not only have my runs been missing elevation data, but also my step counts aren't loading. I can access the data from my Forerunner 15, but for some reason it isn't uploading to Garmin Connect. I've only had the watch for about 2 1/2 months so I'm hoping it isn't a mechanical issue with the watch, perhaps its just a known issue they will be able to fix and eventually I can backfill the data. I realize that probably doesn't help answer your question, but you aren't the only one experiencing this issue. Good luck with your workouts and hopefully they'll figure out whats wrong and get it fixed soon.

Uploaded 2 activities from this weekend and no elevation data present even after manually importing. Instead of elevation data connect displays heart rate but no heart rate monitor connected?? I've also had the watch for 2 months. I've seen on previous threads there was a similar issue last year but not sure how this was resolved.
  • Just uploaded a run from today (Fr15) and when I open the activity full page, there is no note of elevation correction (on or off) for it. My Saturday run is showing it however. This happened a couple months ago with the Fr15 and was fixed in a few days.

I have the same issue and had the same problem last year...... I think its an issue with the website rather than the watch. It's very annoying as elevation is important for pacing and the tool is there to help!! Does anyone know when this will be fixed and if so, do we need to upload our runs again?!

Elevation corrections are currently turned off. We have created a dedicated webpage you can visit at http://garminconnect.com/status. This page will be the best and quickest way to look up the status of Garmin Connect. If the status of Garmin Connect is “Limited”, we will update the page as soon as we have more information to share with you about the issues we may be experiencing.

    Thank you,

I made the mistake of uploading 3 days of data last night. Having now checked the status page it is online properly, so how do I get my workouts to display with the elevation now?
  • is there an expected time frame to have elevation data available when exporting activities to gpx files?
