How do I export my data from Garmin Connect?

I recently got a Garmin Vivofit as a present and have been using it for a few weeks.

I'd like to export my data (eg to CSV) so that I can make my own graphs and do my own analysis.

How do I get my data out?

With the activity showing click on the gear icon top right and select the Export format. If you're new to Connect try reading through here

Thanks for your help. I read through the link you sent and I still don't understand how to do this. The link you sent says to go to the 'Activities List page' but I don't know where to find that page.

Just to clarify I am trying to export Steps and Sleep data either from the Garmin Connect mobile app or from the Garmin Connect web page.

Is there no way to export my personal data from Garmin connect?

Should I submit a freedom of information request to the company? Surely there must be an easier way.

Is anyone else trying to get their data out?
